Diving for Seastars in Tasmania
On Saturday July 5, the Go Dive club members went diving to remove the Northern Pacific Seastar from the Channel. Several bags of stars were collected and removed from the area. For a full report, go

The Go Dive club will be oragnising regular monthly dives with Brinky to help remove the starfish from the channel and try to prevent the marine pest from destroying the scallops beds. The next starfish dive will be on July 16. For more information or to sign up, please call Go Dive Hobart. Free airfills and a BBQ are provided.

Club Christmas Party (2007) and Dock Clean Up (2008) photos are up!
The long awaited pictures of the 2007 dive club christmas party at Putters are finally up on the website, as are the dock clean up pictures taken during the dock clean up in January 2008.

CONGRATULATIONS! The June Open Water Course has seen new divers graduate!
Congratulations to our six new divers - Jason, Kate, Lucas, Michael, Theo & TomA! The course was finished at the Eaglehawk Neck premesis, and the participants were spoilt with amazing visibility and some very nice (if cold) weather!
